Words by frequency
A book is not made of equally important words. A few dozen come round again and again; many appear exactly once.
The app counted all 48 pages and made a list out of it: around 1,100 distinct words, ordered by how often they stand in the book. The most frequent one is at the top. Knowing the first hundred already means recognising a large part of what is being read — which is a different route from starting at the front and working through.
Two columns, both sortable
The list has two columns: the word with its meaning, and the rank. The rank carries the number of occurrences with it — #1 (×70) means the most frequent word in the book, seventy times over. Tap a column heading and the list sorts by it; tap again and the direction flips. So you can read it either by frequency or alphabetically.
From the number back to the word
Tapping a row opens the same sheet as in the prayer text: meaning, word class, characters, where the meaning came from. From there you can also save the word to your vocabulary list. How lookup works inside the text is on Lookup.
